There are many problems related to both fields, such as magnifications of quality objects, attaching importance to social quality, thoroughness of CS (Customer Satisfaction), application of ISO standards concerning the QMS Quality Manage-ment System (ISO9000s) and the EMS environmental management system (ISO14000s), and also the more recent American industrial tendency which attaches importance to TQM and so forth.
