We regard the use of an e-learning system as lesson assistance. Traditional face-to-face education and e-learning systems have both advantages and disadvantages, but by combining the strong points of the two methods, we can provide higher educational services and enhance student comprehension. The SELS system performs an automatic analysis of the results of an on-line test and provides the analysis to both the student and the teacher. Students can see their weak points, and the teacher can understand where to provide more teaching guidance. In addition, we provide evidence of the utility of the SELS system and its value in enhancing comprehension.
